Your season stays on your device
Effective 26 September 2026. This policy covers the Judges Walk app for iPhone and iPad.
The short version
Judges Walk does not collect any personal data. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDK. The app does not send what you enter to us or to anyone else. On the App Store it is labelled "Data Not Collected".
What the app stores, and where
To work as a planner, the app keeps the following on your device only, in its own private storage:

We cannot see any of this. If you add other people's names, please only add what your group is happy to share. Deleting the app deletes everything it stored. You can also clear it at any time with Settings → "Start an empty season".
Permissions
- Camera is used only when you tap "Take a photo" on a stop, to capture a before or after photo of that display. Photos are saved inside the app.
- Photo library: when you tap "Choose from library", the system photo picker opens and the app only receives the photos you pick.
- Notifications are local only: a morning message with that day's rota, and reminders a week and a day before judging day. They are scheduled on the device and permission is only asked when you switch the reminder on.
You can change these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Sharing
Nothing leaves the app unless you choose to share it. When you export the judges' pack, the PDF goes wherever you send it with the system share sheet (for example Files, Print or Mail), and that service's own terms apply.
Children
Judges Walk is a planning tool for adult group coordinators. It is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. Everything is under your control on your device. Under UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you can still ask us questions about this policy through the support page.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. We will never start collecting data without saying so here and in the App Store listing first.
